Standards of Practice
Trust matters. We follow a written code of business practices and we
make these policies public to foster trusting relationships with clients
and associates. Our standards govern us in all interactions. We're
making the 'rules of engagement' we follow explicit so everyone outside
our company will know what to expect and feel comfortable and confident
about working or even competing with us. We hold ourselves to high standards. If you were to ever notice a deviation, or if we've left out anything you need to grant us your trust, we hope you would do us the service of calling it to our attention so we can make it right. There's Gold in the Golden Rule -- We serve you as we love to be served. The following points all stem from this universal principle which is our prime directive. It's a kind of ethics and it's also good business. Transparency -- We sustain openness and free access to any non-confidential intelligence about us because we're looking for a good match with each client. Tansparency engenders trust. Accountability -- We say what we do and do what we say. We measure our self worth by how we fulfill commitments. We commit to meeting specific wants and needs to deliver solid value. Reliability –- We generate astute planning, stellar creative, and expert management, and deliver by deadline. Client and Customer Focus –- We consider matters from three perspectives -- yours, your customer's, and our own and we act accordingly. Reciprocal Fair Trade -- We align our fees with market pricing compiled in relevant industry surveys. You can be confident we don't overcharge for services and deliverables of comparable extent and quality. Strategic Mindset -- Rapid, insightful grasp of your business space, systems, and processes. We rely on decades of varied, relevant experience and we apply proven planning, marketing, and creative practices. Full Service -- We don't over-specialize into restricted niches. We specialize in you, our client, to give you just what you need. Creativity –- The money is in your message. We skillfully craft the message that pays. Versatility –- Mature craft produces high-potency creative in many styles, forms, and voices, for compelling persuasion. Mastery in both product and service-based business spaces informs astute management and planning. Orderly Processes –- Expect predictable, timely interaction and clear, precise communication. | You receive written proposals that specify
deliverables, schedules, and deadlines, with costs, conditions, and
terms. Technical Competence -- An engineering background gives us fluency and competence in handling technical details with ease and grace. Featured Service Suites -- We combine services clients often want into packages that cover your needs better at lower cost than a piecemeal approach. Practical Execution –- We provide usable strategies that get results, not just hot-air 'marketing consulting' you can't see how to apply in the real world. We don't just deliver a consultant's report and leave getting things done a mystery. We offer optional implementation of plans we develop. Demonstrated Quality -- You can see what our past clients think before you decide to work with us. Please refer to the testimony on our web site, and for further proof, we'll be happy to provide client references. Value-based Marketing -- In efforts to persuade your customers, we demonstrate how your offerings satisfy their imperatives by stressing the value (benefits) you bring. We prove assertions about your value by citing underlying features, and when available, by clear evidence based on your customers' experiences. No Trickery -- We don't exploit dark motivations like abject fear, rampant greed, or unbridled power lust, and so on. We refuse to "do whatever it takes to make a sale" by using devious tactics, misrepresentation or 'false logic.' Relationships, Not Hard Selling -- We're in business for the long haul and support clients who want long term relationships, repeat sales, and copious referrals. We use methods proven to produce those results. Ideal Customer Defined -- We make clear who will experience a mutually satisfying relationship with us. Then potential clients who disagree with our fundamentals can move on quickly rather than experiencing a false start or dead end. We connect with businesses who want what we offer, the way we offer it; who have budget for marketing, planning, or business development; and who are willing to spend it with a young, boutique, virtual firm like ours. We mostly seek work with service-based businesses (which may also offer some products) that earn from $2.5M to $25M annually. We also offer a business launch program for new professional practices and service companies, to help establish ongoing business processes for marketing and planning. ### |
